Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our team will be there to welcome you with a sign bearing your name and the name of our agency. We will assist you with getting your visa, crossing the passport control, carrying your baggage, and crossing the customs. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Once you have checked in at the hotel, you have the option to enjoy the Sound and Light Show in Giza. This incredible show features a stunning display of lights and sounds that tell the story of the Pyramids and Sphinx. After a day of traveling and exploring, you can relax and unwind at the hotel. The overnight stay is included in the package, and meals are not provided on this day. We aim to make your arrival in Egypt as smooth and stress-free as possible, so you can start your trip feeling refreshed and excited.
After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide and private air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up for an excursion to visit the legendary and majestic Three Pyramids. These pyramids were erected by Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerionos and are considered one of the Old Seven Wonders of the world. You will visit the famous pyramids, including Cheops - the largest pyramid that was built around 2650 BC and is the only one that has stood the test of time. With a height of 146 meters, it was for over 40 centuries the highest monument erected by man. Next, you will visit the Sphinx monument, which guards the royal burial chambers and temple of Cheops. This mythical statue has the body of a lion and the head of a human. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren. You will have the option to take a camel or horse ride around the pyramids to experience the desert landscape from a different perspective. Afterward, you will visit the necropolis of Sakkara, which was used as a cemetery for thousands of years and still holds many secrets in the desert sand. The Pyramid at Sakkara is one of the oldest stone structures in the world, built during the Third Dynasty for King Djoser and overseen by his vizier Imhotep. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Giza Train Station to take the First Class Sleeper Train to Luxor. Dinner will be served on the train, and you will spend the night onboard. This tour includes breakfast at the hotel and dinner on the train, while lunch is not included. Your visit will continue to the Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and known for its massive pillars. If you're interested, you can also attend the Sound and Light Show at Karnak. Next, you'll visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, an impressive fortress that houses the beautiful mosque of Mohamed Ali. Built on the hills of Moqattam in 1183 AD, the citadel provides panoramic views of the city and was a vital point of defense against the Crusaders. Salah El Din was appointed as the governor of Egypt after the death of the sultan of Damascus, Noor-el-Din. Take the evening to unwind and relax at the hotel.
